Before launching your survey, it’s extremely important to do a quick test to ensure everything makes sense and is ready to go.
To test your survey, you can go to the “Survey” screen, and from the “Actions” button, select the magnifying lens icon:
When running your test, be sure to think not only from your perspective, but also from the perspective of the respondent. Here’s a quick checklist of things to look for before you launch your survey:
- Is your content grammatically correct?
- Is your multimedia rendering correctly?
- Are your questions clear, concise and unbiased?
- Are your filters used correctly?
- Will your objective(s) be answered with the questions you’re asking?
Another quick way to determine if your survey is ready to go is to launch is to a send it to a test population. You can do this by selecting the “Duplicate” option here under your existing survey:
For your reference, simply indicate in your survey title that it is a test, and you’re ready for your test launch! Simply select a small population of respondents in your target audience using AskToluna, or send the survey to a few respondents of your own via email or a link. Once it’s complete, take a look at the results and make sure that with the answers given, you’ll be able to obtain the information you’re looking for. It’s that simple!
